Bottle Tree Park

We had been to Bottle Tree Village several times but Bottle Tree Park is our 1st visit. It a nice place for the kids at the playground. There are also some small animals in the cages. The children can also try to catch some "Long Kang"fishes at $10 per kid. The foods there are nice too. Overall, I will give it a 8/10 and we will sure visit them again.

Power Failure

Can't believe that this will ever happen to me. We got a power failure early in the morning @ 2.30am!!! Everything just stop. The sarong, the fans, the air con... The most important things for the 2 princesses. Elson went off to check the circuit board and found no problem with it. He also went out with MIL to check the electrical main board also can't find any different too.

We ended up moving the kids over to mummy's place in the middle of the night/early morning.

JB Trip

Had planned for our JB trip since a month ago. We actually wanted to go to a further place, because I am pregnant now, it's not "safe" for me travel by plane. So, to just pop by to our neighbouring country, Malaysia. The itinerary was supposed to be like this - Durian Farm, Kota Tinggi waterfall, Seafood Dinner, but changed almost everything at the last minute.

We visited the Desaru Fruits Farm. There wasn't any good durians there. Those we ate are mostly cheap durian we found in Singapore (maybe were those $1 each). Since there was a delay at the custom clearance, we didn't stay too long at the fruits farm. Was supposed to head off to Kota Tinggi waterfall, but the weather didn't look good and we changed the route at the very last minute to do some window shopping @ Jusco. We only stayed there for any hour and then head off for dinner. It wasn't so fun cos we spent most of our time travelling, but we enjoyed being together and non of us need to drive.

Let me tell you a secret

Flu

Shannen is finally down with flu after DH pass it to her. Got to bring her to the doc is she still unwell on Wed. We are leaving for Bali on Friday night. Hopefully she will recover by then. Pray hard now.

On 11th of May
-Fever with flu. Temperature @ around 37.8.

On 12th of May
- Fever & flu. Temperature range from 38 to highest @ 39.2. Gave her stronger fever medicine but fever still come back in the middle of the night @ 38.1. Got to give her fever patch and she was crying due to the cooling effect of the patch.

On 13th of May
- Still running nose. Much more concentrated liao but still clear colour. Have block nose in the middle of the night. Couldn't sleep at all. Was transfer from bed to sarong at least 5 times the whole night. End up I didn't sleep too.

on 14th of May
- Brought Shannen to PD and she said it's some virus attack. Give her 5 kinds of medicines with nose drop. No need any vaccination after confirmed by PD. Flu was still bad and cough with lots of phlegm. Though no fever but still got to be careful. Sleep alright on bed in the night but still can hear her coughing as and when.

on 15th of May
- Bad morning cos only drink 100ml of milk. Have running & blocked nose with cough & lots of phlegm. Mucus was much thicker & a little green in colour. Too heaty liao. Only then I realised that her canine is coming out. Didn't drink and eat well in the night. Cried from 8.30pm to 10.00pm. Until her both eyes cannot open. Kept wanting me to hug her. Finally fell asleep by 10.30pm.

on 16th of May
- Though she is 20 months old today, but we really has no mood to take pics or do any postings for Shannen. She woke up @ 8.30am asking for water. Gave her milk @ 8.45am and managed to finish 270ml. After giving her the last medicine, Zytec, she vomit out the medicine + milk + phlegm. I think about 1/2 children cup ba. She is better now and sleeping in the sarong. No more running nose unless she cries. Still have cough with phlegm sound. Please get well soon.

After much discussion with Elson, we will go ahead to carry on our trip to Bali. We agree to take turns to take care of Shannen. Hopefully everything goes on smoothly otherwise we will take an earlier flight back without any hesitation.
