Father's Stall

This is our (me & Shannen) 1st visit to father's stall and we succeeded in giving him a surprise. Megan & Family, Sharlene, Robin & Yongliang were also there too. Father prepared lots of satay, BBQ fish & sotong and also chicken wings for us. Could tell that he was really happy to see us there.

When Shannen asked for sweet after she finished half bowl of fishball noodles, father quickly gave her a Mentos and not knowing that our little princess dun take "minty" sweet. Shannen spilt the sweet our almost immediately and shouted out that she doesn't like "yeye" who gave her the mint. Lolz...... Right away, father left the stall behind and came back after 10minutes with 3 cups of ice-cream with him. He gave Shannen the more expensive ones and left the other 2 for Yongliang & Chloe. Saw Yongliang trying to exchange the ice-cream with Shannen after she shouted "don't want" Hahahaha.....

Our In-House Reunion Dinner

Since Sharlene & Megan couldn't make it, we decided to have our own steamboat dinner @ home. Bought all the foods from Chong Pang market.

Complimentary fish roe from the fish stall I always buy from. There were 4 in total. 2 already in our stomach. The length of the fish roe were about 3/4 of a chopstick. As for the thickness, you gonna see it for yourself in the next pics. Yummy!!!

Planning to drive to NTUC to buy some groceries and have our dinner there. Before we decide where to go, asked Shannen for her opinion.

Me : Darling, Thomson or Sembawang?
Shannen : Sembawang
Me : You sure?
Shannen : Yes, Sembawang

End up Elson still insist to drive to Thomson Plaza for a try. Just before we made the U-turn, saw many cars waiting to drive into the mall with the "Full" parking sign showing. Elson then regret that he should have listen to Shannen earlier. So we made a turn back to Sun Plaza. Just as we drove along the road, saw Sembawang Shopping Center. Was thinking, why not go there since it's free parking and they have a Giant Supermarket there.

We settled our dinner @ Fish & Co. Shannen had a Fish 'N' Chips meals while Elson ordered an adult Fish 'N' Chips, I ordered a Prawns Fettuccini with Chili Cream. Elson and Shannen ones are the same style only different is the portion. As for mine...... I won't order that again. The Fettuccini was over-cooked though the prawns were fresh. Overall, it doesn't taste that nice.

After dinner, we went to Giant Hypermarket to do our groceries shopping. It was huge and not that crowded. So we get to shopping freely. Just as we were at the check-out cashier, saw 2 very familiar tress standing at the entrance. Then came a very familiar voice. It was Brian Wong. Then I remember that they are doing a shooting in Giant Sembawang @ 6pm. Elson as the cashier to hurry up and off we went home. Lolz...

New Bed For MIL

Had been wanting to change Mother's bed since we moved in but can't find a good chance until today. At least when we threw away her old bed away she won't be at home stopping us to do that. Went to Furniture Warehouse to get the bed. Total cost @ $1998. Not bad for a good and comfortable bed. Hopefully mother will like her new bed when she comes home.

I was also told by the sale staff that we are entitled for some lucky draw and asked us to fill in the coupons. When I read carefully, I realised that the top prizes was 2 way air tickets for 2 to Bangkok. OMG. Hopefully I get some other prizes. Lolz...

BBQ Again

It was a nice weather in the afternoon. So Elson decided that we shall have BBQ for dinner again. Went to NTUC @ Sun Plaza to grab our foods then proceed back home to start the "fire".

BBQ On A Rainy Day

Was planning to visit Megan @ the hospital in the late afternoon, but after receiving a message from Sharlene saying that Megan will be discharging today, we then decided to plan to do something else.

We went to Sembawang to get some foods and head back home to have a BBQ. Though the weather wasn't that good, we were still safe under the "shelter" we had installed. Shannen was having great time locking the glass door and had me and Elson locked outside the house. Luckily thing was that we had a bunch of spare keys with us. Lolz...

Let's Welcome Mother

Everyone came to our place to resume our gathering and had a great time BBQ @ the patio, chatting, children running and more more more... Mother cooked salted vegetable duck soup and red bean soup. Also not forgetting our all-time favourite, chicken wings! After that, all the girls( kids + toddlers only) has a mini swim at our newly renovated toilet.

Messy Messy....

Our mini renovation finally kick off this morning. There were drilling and dirt flying all around the house. Uncle told us to bring Shannen out cos it will be louder when he need to remove the bathtub. Anyway, we had planned to go out way before hand.

We(mummy, Shannen and me) went to the nearest Thomson Plaza to do a little shopping. Bought some foods so that we can make dinner for tonight and tomorrow. Shannen was way too tired and nearly fell asleep in the trolley. So I bought a Pigeon pillow and a soft toy(Dumbo) for her to hug and sleep on while she was taking her nap on the trolley. We then decided to head back home at 2pm. Cos can't bear to see our Princess sleeping on the trolley. Just before we reached home, Shannen had already gone to her dreamland in mummy's arms.

Mummy placed her on the sofa while I quickly did a quick mop in the hall so that she can nap on the mattress with the fan on. Otherwise, the dirt will be flying everywhere. Shannen only took a very short nap (about 40mins) cos Uncle still gonna continue the drilling work. Otherwise it will drag another day again. They left our place with the smaller bathroom done up(Shannen and MIL's onez) and for our master bed room's toilet, the bathtub was removed and the whole floor were all gone. We can't use both toilet. Only alternative is the use the smallest toilet downstairs(with a washing machine in it). Elson then suggested that we go to mummy's place to take our showers. Can send her on the way back too.

Reached home at around 8.30pm. I did a quick mop again. Can't stand the dust everywhere. Get Shannen to sleep at 10pm. Then I went to clean up the house again. Washed all the fan, mop every corner, clean the stairs with cloth, changed all the bedsheets. Tomorrow is just another day. They haven't finish yet.......
