3rd Gynae Checkup
My weight hasn't increase yet. Still remains @ 56kg from my 1st gynae checkup. Dr. Adrian had confirmed again that Baby is doing fine and growing well in me. Could see the Baby doing exercise inside me. Due date has brought forward to 26th Sept 2009.

29 Months Milestones
Yes, it's today. Shannen is finally 29 months now. We brought her to the clinic for reviews and we managed to get the letter from Dr Tan stating the Shannen is clear from the ulcer and is able to go back to school now. We called for a cab to send us to Bishan Junction 8 for lunch plus also celebration for Shannen's recovery and her 29 months big day.
Had out lunch @ The Manhattan Fish. Was surprised that Shannen was able to finish the kid set meal (Fish 'N' Chips) all by herself plus drinking some of my sweet potato soup. I ordered a Aglio Olio set meal while Huiting had her favourite Pouched Cherry Red Snapper with Chips. With the voucher I had, I only paid for $31++ for our lunch. It's definitely worth it and the foods were so good.
After that, we proceed to Haagen Dazs for some ice-cream (as promised by me earlier). Ordered a Flower Blossom with 6 scoops of mini ice-cream for flavours of our choice. Since the bill was more than $20, we are also entitled to purchase a tub of ice-cream back home @ $10.90++. Well, I bought a Tiramisu for Huiting to bring back. Cos has been very helpful every time I ask her for help. Just like today, she took off to company us out. She surely deserve the tub of Haagen Dazs ice-cream!

Back to Shannen's updates. She is able to speak short sentences now. Like......
1) I was watching tv program @ mummy's place 1 day when she woke up asking me to carry her. I told her
Me : Come out yourself. Mummy watching Aunty cooking
(Shannen came out from the room and lie down next to me.)
Shannen : No.... it's uncle cooking, not aunty cooking.
(indeed the chief change to male after Shannen came out from the room)
2) My dad was having dinner with Shannen
Dad : The fish is hot, you cannot eat
Shannen : Ah gong. No... it's spicy, not hot.
(my dad was busting out loud after being correct by his grandchild)
3) It happened in school that Teacher Ida told me about it. She was showing all the kids(born in 2006) a switched off TV and asking them to imagine what would come out from the television.
Shannen's reply : No remote control, tv cannot on.
Teacher Ida stood there for a few seconds. Caused by surprised answer from Shannen. Lolz...
This is the kinda improvement Shannen has now. We look forward for her growing up everyday.

2nd Gynae Checkup
2nd Gynae Checkup (on 12.02.2009)
Told Dr. Adrian that I didn't have any appetite at all. Feel so sleepy in the day. Morning sickness is very irregular. Everything doesn't seem right now. After the scan, had confirmed that Baby is doing well and growing fast. Due date is still advised to be on 1st Oct 2009.

Heat Monsters & Ucler
Shannen is sick... The PD had confirmed that she is having ulcer on her throat which is similar cases to HFM disease. Which means she cannot go to school for the whole week until she recovered.

School informed me that Shannen is having fever @ 37.8 in the afternoon, but she seem fine to me after I brought her home to shower, had her milk and nap. She was 37 degree then. At around 9pm before we slept, Shannen had fever @ 37.8 again. I then gave her the fever medicine which I bought from the pharmacy.

Shannen woke up around 5am and started to talk to me. Just wondering why. When I moved over to feel her head, she was burning @ 38.5. Gave her the fever medicine again. Told Elson that we must not wait, must bring her to the PD. Woke up @ 8.30am to bring Shannen to register to see the PD. Only Dr. Tan is available on Tue and we have to wait for 4-5hours before we can see her. So decided to go to mummy's place for some rest and food before we bring her to the PD again. Fever shot up again @ around 11am to 39 degree. I gave her the medicine and let her take her nap. We were only able to see the PD at around 1.30pm. She had then confirmed that Shannen is down with similar HFM disease. She was only able to gave Shannen 2 type of the fever medicine. The Ulcer, nothing much we can do about it, just gonna wait till she recover by herself.
Shannen had another fever @ 3pm, it was 39 degree. Gave her the medicine for higher fever (for fever over 38.5 degree) then she went for her nap. She developed fever again at around 9pm, it was 38.5 degree. Same thing applies (higher fever medicine). Night time was the worse. Fever range from 38.3 to 39.3 degree until 1.30am midnight. I just wait and wait..... If fever gonna shot up to 39.5, will definitely wake mummy up to sponge Shannen.

It was a better day. Shannen had fever @ 9am for 37.8 degree, @ 4pm for 37.9 degree & @ 9pm for 38 degree. Gave her only the normal fever medicine for all the 3 times. Night time was alright except she kept waking up asking for her new water bottle. Lolz...
Though Shannen is sick, she still looks ok in the day time.

Brought Shannen to the clinic for reviews. Hoping that Dr Tan can issue a letter for Shannen to attend school on Monday. Bad news... The ulcer haven't clear yet. Still have to bring Shannen back to the clinic on Monday for further reviews
After we got rejected by Dr. Tan, we went to Sakae Sushi for lunch. Shannen loves their chawamushi & udon kids meal. Especially the Yakult she gets to drink after her lunch

Edmund's Birthday
It been many many years since I last celebrate birthday for Edmund. Reason is - his birthday is too near the CNY and hongbaos are what he wants. So I decided to celebrate his birthday this year. On the hand is because Shannen simply love birthdays and blowing out candles.
A very yummy cake
Bought a Hazelnuts cake from Prima Deli from Compass Point since I was there to do "something else". We(me & Huiting) hide the cake well when we reached mummy's place. I gave him a hongbao asking him whether is it alright without a cake? He was okay then. Only took out the cake after dinner to give him a surprised. It was a surprised indeed and I could tell that he was quite happy about it. Of course our Princess Shannen was very excited when she saw the cake. This means, it's candles blowing time!!!

1st Gynae Checkup
After making sure that Dr. Adrian is the right choice for me this time, I make an appointment to see him in the afternoon. It was a very fast checkup. Just ensuring that baby has the heartbeat, now measured @ 0.21cm, got some vitamins pills and off I went home with the good news to family members. Due date was advised to be on 1st Oct 2009 (which is the same birthday as Elson, he was so damn happy)

After a good stay at mummy's place for a few days, we are finally back home. All I can say is Home Sweet Home! We love our beds!
