Buffet

Elson just signed up a new credit card and they(the bank) had given him some vouchers for dinning. Which means..... we will be eating and eating for the next few months (before I give birth to Sara). We went to Changi Village Hotel for our buffet dinner today. I will surely recommend it to any of my friends cos the foods was above average. It's more to a Chinese buffet with serving of 3 different ways of cooking the crabs. Their cakes were very delicious too. Especially the strawberry cheese cake. Love them!

Huipei's Wedding Banquet

Finally.... We waited so long and finally Huipei had found her prince charming to come to her rescue. It's more like a gathering for me since I had left my work place for more than a year. Kinda miss some of them and the fun time we had together. I met Pauline much earlier so we can have some girl's talk. Shannen was very obedient too. She just sat quietly, looking at the passerby.

Before the dinner starts, Jason walked over and asked Shannen if he could bring her out to buy balloon. I was very surprised that she agreed. Was kinda worried that Shannen might scream out loud cos even when Daddy wanna bring her to the playground without me, she will U-turn back, crying when the reached the lift. Not to say that Jason is consider a young, single man. When I went out to take a look, I saw Shannen holding onto Jason's hand, with another hand, holding onto a Hello Kitty Balloon and looking around to buy some more toys. Well done, Jason!

Dinner starts around 9pm and before that I had asked for some hot water to make milk for Shannen. All of them (my ex-colleagues) was staring at how I fed Shannen and of course they were so curious on why Shannen is feeding from syringes. Lolz.. (of course I explained to them). Shannen was very well-behaviour. Thanks to the mp5 I brought along with lots of Shannen's favourite shows. Elson reached around 10pm to pick us cos Shannen needs to attend school the next day.

JB Trip

Had planned for our JB trip since a month ago. We actually wanted to go to a further place, because I am pregnant now, it's not "safe" for me travel by plane. So, to just pop by to our neighbouring country, Malaysia. The itinerary was supposed to be like this - Durian Farm, Kota Tinggi waterfall, Seafood Dinner, but changed almost everything at the last minute.

We visited the Desaru Fruits Farm. There wasn't any good durians there. Those we ate are mostly cheap durian we found in Singapore (maybe were those $1 each). Since there was a delay at the custom clearance, we didn't stay too long at the fruits farm. Was supposed to head off to Kota Tinggi waterfall, but the weather didn't look good and we changed the route at the very last minute to do some window shopping @ Jusco. We only stayed there for any hour and then head off for dinner. It wasn't so fun cos we spent most of our time travelling, but we enjoyed being together and non of us need to drive.

Marks

Teacher Sarie was walking towards me when I reached the school to fetch Shannen. She told me that Shannen was standing behind the door when her classmate closed the door on her and it left quite a long marks on her left arm. She felt so sorry about it, but I guess it's pretty common for children to have accidents in school so long it's not that serious.

The marks

I told Shannen to give me a sad pose and she did! Lolz..

7th Gynae Checkup

Before doing the regular scan, Dr. Adrian had broke a not so good news to me. As refers to the detail scan that I did last month, it show that my placenta is kinda low. If it still remains @ the same position, I will have to go for a C-section to give birth to Sarah. Was kinda sad after heading it, cos all these while I had been very careful with this pregnancy, especially my diet(cos I had Gestational Diabetes when I was expecting Shannen @ 34weeks). I had even planned not to have any epidural for this delivery so that I can experience the real "pain".

Dr. Adrian had told me that 90% of the women having this problem will be gone at the last month cos there's a possibilities that the placenta will move upwards when the baby grows. I just have to pray hard that I am among the 90% who can give birth to my baby Sarah naturally. Otherwise, we will have to go for a C-section and hopefully baby Sarah can have the same birthday as Shannen.

The rest of the results of my detail scan were good. Sarah actually weights 10 grams heavier than Shannen for both their detail scans (same days old) and she is also "taller" than Shannen.

Sarah is weighing @ 669grams now.

Bakerzin

It's our (me & Shannen) 1st visit to this restaurant. Since Shannen will not be going to the Sentosa excursion, we had decided not to let her go to school too. Elson gave us a ride to mummy's place before to go to town to collect some documents. Huiting was the only one at home cos Daddy & Mummy had went to a Grand-Uncle's funerals.

SHE (Shannen, Huiting, Erin) had decided to take a 15mins bus ride to Tampines One to shop around. We settled our lunch @ Bakerzin. Think the pasta (kids' meal) were too chewy for Shannen. She only 4-5 spoonful of the whole plate. Scare that Shannen will be hungry, I ordered a slice of cake for her too. At least she was able to finish half of the cake. After that we shop around and bought a puzzle for Shannen then off we went back to mummy's place to take our showers and naps..

Sarah Sarah......

When I was just a little girl, I asked my mother what will I be......
Will I be pretty, will I be rich, here what she said to me.......

I have been singing this song to Shannen since she was born and now it's her turn to sing to me in the night before we sleep. After much discussion with Elson, we have decided to name our 2nd Princess, Sarah. It means Princess. As for Shannen, the meaning is god's gracious gift. Still got to think hard for Sarah's chinese name still....

Shannen Draws Me

Shannen took about 3 minutes to draw this picture and I love it!
