Genting Trip Day 3

We didn't have good sleep last night. Shannen woke up around 3am crying. Kept saying that she wants to buy the toy. I think it's the toy car which we saw on our way back to the hotel. She only went back to sleep around 4.30am which all of us already woke up "badly" by her. It's the 1st time MD and HE saw her "sleep & cry" act. To me, it's just nothing. I got it at least once a week after she quit her pacifier.

We went to 好味 for breakfast after MD had about the delicious noodles we had yesterday for lunch. Since Mummy won some money again this morning, it would be her treat then. In total, she won RM$1k.

After breakfast, MD & SHEE went shopping again. This time it's Factory Outlet. After a short while, Edmund decided that he wanted to go back and rest again. What a waste. The whole trip he was sleeping and sleeping. Waste my $$$ Anyway, we got really good stuffs from the shop. I got a branded single @ RM$, Daddy got 2 boxers @ RM$30, Mummy got a Aero hoodies @ RM39, Huiting got a branded black blouse @ RM$35 and Edmund got a Gap T-shirt @ RM$30. While we were doing the search, Daddy bought Shannen and "walking & barking" dog. So god damn expensive. @ RM$29.90. I told him I can get that back in Singapore @ $5 or less. To him is as long Shannen is happy, that's all.

We went back to the hotel and also bought along a packet of chicken for Shannen for her lunch. We were granted a late check-out @ 1pm and off we went down to the bus terminal to wait for our coach. While waiting we didn't forget to eat some more. Tried the packed fruits and waffles at the terminal. Not too bad.

Shannen fell asleep soon after we board the coach but woke up again when the coach went downwards off the hills. I think it's the ear irritation she had. She was crying loudly then. Poor girl. We reached Yong Ping for dinner and reach Singapore around 10.30pm. Home sweet home.....

Genting Trip Day 2

We woke up around 8.30am cos wanted to have dim sum @ 好友記 near Genting Highlands Hotel. Just couldn't forget their taste from our last trip. We were waiting for the free shuttle bus service to the "top" but since there were also many people waiting for board the bus, we then chose to walk to the "top".

If not wrong, we ordered about 25 plates of dim sum and it only cost us RM$85. Worth it too. After breakfast, MD proceed to the casino again, while Edmund wanted to go back to the hotel room to rest (he was having flu). SHE were shopping around. Hopefully can get somethings for ourselves. Both me and Huiting were very interested to get a hoodies but we need a little more time to think again. (cos it's still early and we didn't want to spend all our money away). Shannen got an Andox soft toy for herself instead. After shopping, SHE went to 好味 for lunch and then head back to hotel for Shannen to take her nap.

We had an earlier dinner today again. Daddy called Mushroom Farm so that they can arrange a mini bus to drive us there. We had Fried & Steam Cod Fish, Steam Frog Legs with Chicken Essence, Stir-Fried Mushroom and Sweet Sour Pork for dinner. With drink it cost us slightly more expensive than yesterday @ RM$160. Edmund paid for it. Cos he said he didn't use any money, so he dun mind giving us a treat and since MD didn't win any money too, Edmund gave them RM$100 each. Wow...... So generous! We also had durian today, but a bit different from yesterday. It's a big durian with lots of bitter fruits and it was also RM$70.

We decided to walk along the "pasa malam" outside the theme park. It was so so cold. I gave Shannen my jacket and pretend that I was not cold at all (liar! I was so damn cold manz....). Didn't buy anything from the stalls and we headed back to 1st World Hotel to continue shopping. MD was eager to go back to the casino. Hopping to win something back. SHE dragged Edmund to company us for shopping. Bought some clothing from Padini and then went back to the shop to buy the hoodies. Shannen also got the marshmallow she wanted - a bunny. We were happier now. Lolz.....

Decided to let Edmund rest/sleep in the hotel room while we(SHE) took turn to shower. Suddenly, someone open Edmund's room (we had connected rooms). It was mummy. She told us that she had won back what she had lost earlier. On top of that, she had won another RM$500. So she decided to call it a day. Wow......... After Mummy took her shower, we asked her to take care of Shannen while we went downstairs to get our supper - Kenny Rogers' Chicken again. Called Daddy to inform him that Mummy is back. He told us he would be back soon and asked us to get him some beer.

After all the good foods/supper, we went to sleep...........

P.S. Bought 5 packets of Salonpas from Watsons and I had 6 that night, Mummy had 5, Huiting had 2 and Edmund had 3. Lolz....

Genting Trip Day 1

Woke up as early as 4.30am to get ready everything. Shannen woke up by our noise at 5am. Could see that she was pretty excited about the trip (cos she was jumping around and was also able to finish 240ml of milk. Daddy arranged for his friend to pick us up @ 5.30am with his Maxi Cab. Since I didn't upgrade the seat this time, the pick up point was at Golden Mile Complex.

We boarded the coach around 6.50am and it headed straight to Singapore custom. It was a pretty fast clearance compared to the Malaysia onez (which we waited at least 30mins for our turn). We reached Yong Ping(for breakfast) around 9am. Mummy and I acted pretty fast. We were the 1st at the Fishball/Yong Tou Fu Noodles Soup stall. Bought 3 bowls of the famous Yong Tou Fu Noodles Soup. Finished them in minutes and headed back to the coach. Shannen fell asleep pretty fast after breakfast with company of my mp5 storing her favourites Bernard Bear shows.

We reached Genting around 2pm. Before the coach reached Genting, I told Dad & Edmund to carry all the bulky stuffs while Mum & Huiting help to take care of Shannen and carry some light stuffs. I was in-charge of running to the Five Stars Counter for the hotel check-in Q ticket (after gaining experience from the 1st time, we knew that we need to get a Q no. at the counter before we can get our room for check-in). When I reached the counter (to get the Q no.only) there were already 5 people ahead me. By the time I got the Q ticket, I was 136 behind the rest. It was not too bad cos when daddy, mummy and the rest of them joined me, there were alot more people queuing for the ticket (at least 60 people queuing).

We were able to check-in to the room around 4pm. While waiting I decided to give Shannen her milk. Well, indeed there were many pairs of eyes looking at Shannen cos she was drinking from syringes. Lolz.... After we "discharge" all the stuffs we headed down to Mushroom Farm for an early dinner. (for those people who are planning for a trip to Genting, I suggest you give a try at Mushroom Farm, food and cheap. Definitely worth it) We had a Butter Fried Fish, Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs, Hotplate Toufu, Fried Brinja with Long Beans and Pig Stomach Soup(this soup was ordered from another stall). Together with a pot of chrysanthemum tea and a bottle of Guiness it only cost me RM$140. We ended our dinner with some good local durians. Daddy paid RM$70 for 3 small durians. Though there were small but the flesh was good. Bitter and golden in colour. Even Shannen like them. After that we took the free bus service back to 1st World Hotel.

MD (Mummy & Daddy) had decided to "pay a visit" to the Casino while SHEE (Shannen, Huiting, Erin, Edmund) went back to the hotel room for showering and also continue unpacking our stuffs. We came out again "shop shop around" and also to buy supper back. While waiting for our Kenny Rogers chicken, Shannen had already fell asleep in Huiting's arms. Guess she must be so so tired from the exciting trip.

Mummy(lost RM$1K) came back to the hotel room around 10.30pm to join us for supper while Daddy(win about RM$200) came back after 20mins later. The ends day 1 of our Genting trip.....

P.S. Salonpas has been our good friend throughout the trip. Cos after carrying Shannen the whole day all of us were having body aches. 1st day alone I had 3 and mummy had 3. Because there wasn't enough so we didn't paste much. Lolz....

The Big Day - Swimming

We met everyone at Tampines @ 12pm to register as Safar member. Me & Elson signed up for a 8 years membership. Got ourselves a mp4 & a projection clock as free gift. Since I already had a mp5 from Megan as present, I then passed on the mp4 to Edmund(my younger brother).

Reached Safar @ Mount Faber around 1pm. Shannen had already fallen asleep in my arms during the car ride. Since the rest weren't there yet, we decided to stay in the car and wait for them. On the other hand, Shannen could have a longer nap. It's a pity that I couldn't join them for Shannen's 1st swim(ladies' problem). So, Elson got all time playing with Shannen in the pool. Could see that all of them were having great time. We will surely come back for another swim.

After that, all of them came over to our place for a BBQ dinner. We actually finished 5kg of meat(pork) for dinner. Wow...... lolz

Swimming....

After getting some influence from his friends, Elson has decided that we(Elson & Family, Sharlene & Family, Megan & Family) will sign up as a Safra member and go for a swim fortnightly. Went to World of Sports @ Lot 1 to get his trunk as his friend had lend him a member card which is valid for 30% discount. We also went to Kiddy Palace to get mother a swimming costume, some robes for the girls (Peixuan, Chloe & Shihui), floats for the younger ones (Shannen & Shihui). Total cost @ $140.

After shopping, we proceed to New York New York for our dinner. Mother ordered a lamb chop, Elson had a steak, mine was a Aligo seafood Linguine and Shannen's one was a salmon. Everything was good especially my Aligo seafood Linguine. We also went down to the NTUC to get some raw foods for tomorrow's steamboat. Wow... Elson spent a bomb today. Lolz...

While waiting for foods.....

Mother Is Back

Went to the airport at 4.30pm to pick mother. Since we were much earlier when we reached there (actually the flight was delayed), decided to have some fries@ Burger King. Shannen enjoys that (of course).

What a cute angel (dun speak too soon)

Devil on the move!!!

Sentosa

Had been raining since morning and I don't think Elson will want to proceed with our plan to Sentosa. Has been wondering, how come the rain is so "long-winded" today?? It our 1st Sentosa trip and how can Heaven be so unfair to me??? I waited, hopefully that the rain will stop. At least stop when before we left for Sentosa and I don't mind that the rain starts again after we reach there, but seem like my wish didn't come true. It was still raining....... Elson woke together with Shannen(after her afternoon nap). He told me to pack Shannen's raincoat in the bag too. Means - we can still go to Sentosa though it's raining, hooray!!! I quickly packed everything. Changed into the correct outfit and off we go to Sentosa! Our main purpose to come to Sentosa is to bring Shannen to the Underwater World. We then parked our car at the Beach Carpark and took a tram to the nearest station. Since Elson have a DBS CC, we were given a 30% discount for the entrance tickets and Shannen was entering the Underwater World for free for children under 3. She was amazed by the fishes swimming around in the tank. The only inconvenient was we need to carry the stroller up and down the stairs in the Underwater World. Think it would be great if they(the management) can upgrade it to a more "pram-friendly" place for the parents. After 30mins of stay, we decided to take a stroll back to the carpark to pick up our car and proceed for dinner. Reason is because the tram was too small and there's no place to keep the pram except on our laps. 2nd is there's also no other interesting places to visit in Sentosa except for the beach, but since it's still drizzling, we decided to give it a miss. We drove to Rasa Sentosa for our buffet dinner. Since the dinner will only start @ 6pm, we went to the children playground to let Shannen play on the wet swing and slide. After changing her wet clothes and diaper, we went back to the restaurant for our dinner. I agreed with Elson that it's not worth it to dine-in there for that much we paid ($42 +++). Not much variety and it doesn't taste that good too. Anyway, it was a "not bad" trip after all. It's not the food or visiting that matters, but it's what we are being together and have fun that matters.

BBQ With Daddy & Gang

We invited them(Daddy, Mummy, Edmund & Huiting) over for a BBQ dinner. In order to get fresh crabs, Elson had woke up especially early and went to Chong Pang Market to get them. Halfway through our BBQ party, it was pouring. We then used our fasted speed to move on the upper patio and get the "tent" open-up.

After dinner, went to the reservoir for a stroll. Daddy agreed that it a good place for jogging since the cars were away from the jogging path. Mummy, Shannen & I also climbed up to the top of the mini tower cos our little Princess had been dragging us up. It was a tiring job. No wonder the others just pretend to walk away. Lolz..

Coach Wristlet

Had been thinking whether should I get the Coach Wristlet online or from the boutique in Singapore. After getting some advices from the "Mummies", I finally decided to buy it straight from the store.

Went to fetch Shannen from school as soon as she finished her lunch and off we go to Takashimaya to get my Coach Wristlet. It was so crowded in the store as Coach was having some sales going on. If you purchase the bags with Taka card, you will be given an additional of 10% discount. Since mine was a cash transaction I will pay whatever is stated on the tag. After grabbing my wristlet, went straight to Basement 2 to get the Hokkaido Scallop from Umeya. Bought 2 packet @ $16.90 each. Wow.... but gonna tell you, it taste so good. Worth it!.

Shannen also get a chance to take some pictures with the huge X'mas tree @ Taka.

Shannen loves X'mas trees

Mission Accomplish

After 2 weeks of sleepiness nights, my hard works finally pays off. Shannen has quit on her pacifier and so far for the past few days, she no longer wake up in the middle of the night and cry.

The 1st week of quitting was terrible. Shannen would wake up several times each nights and cry for her pacifiers. Sometime I can even sense that she was having nightmares that her pacifiers "ran" away from her. Lolz.... Everything is over now!

Shannen Draws Me

Shannen took about 3 minutes to draw this picture and I love it!
