Bronchitis

I always have fear on this word - Bronchitis and never will I thought that it will happen to Shannen 1 day. She has been having on and off cough for almost a month and before that I had brought the to both PD & GP. Thinking that she only cough when she was trying to get rid of the phlegm, it didn't bother me to bring her to the doctor again. It all started only yesterday night when she didn't finish her favourite KFC and was complaining that her left ear was painful. She also develop fever at around 8.30pm. Though I had given her the fever medicine, Shannen was pretty hot when pass midnight. I didn't get any sleep and had to wait till the next day morning to bring her to the doctor.

Called up mummy and asked her for help to book an appointment for Shannen. We only get to see Dr. Lilian at around 1.30pm and she had confirmed that Shannen was having Bronchitis. It breaks my heart after hearing that and Shannen had to go back for reviews a week later. We took bottles of medicine and the includes a bottle of Antibiotics. Realised that how serious this can be, I will be more careful in future.

My Birthday

It's just another day that I woke up realising that I am another year older. Before hand I already received sms from my buddy sending her wishes to me after I had sent her too (her birthday is just 2 days before mine). When I woke up and checked the phone, I was surprised to received sms from my dearest brother (Edmund) & my ex working partner, Mr Issac. Was really happy that someone still remember it. Since my birthday falls on a Tuesday, I had already redeemed the gift voucher and a bottle of red wine from New York New York last Wednesday when Daddy, Mummy, Shannen and myself enjoyed a good lunch there.

After sending Shannen to school, I took a bus to Hans(just 2 bus stops from my place) for a sumptuous breakfast. I also bought a slice of cake and some candles so that we(Shannen & me) can share it when she comes home in the afternoon. After settling Shannen for her bathe and milk feeding, we start the photo taking "party". She sang me birthday song in both Mandarin & English and blow out the candle herself. We enjoyed the cake and took a nap together....

Detailed Scan

We reached TMC much earlier than our appointment time today to avoid the jam there. Before moving on to the X-ray department, everyone has to fill in a form, get your temperature checked and ensure that you have a "sticker" on before you can proceed to anywhere you want. Kinda troublesome but I think it's good precaution. Since Elson was still having his cough, the nurse had given him a mask to be put on. Well, he did look like an robber then. Lolz..

During the scan, the lady had ensure me that the baby is healthy with normal growth and it's now confirmed that the baby is a Girl! When she called for Elson and Shannen to join us for the scan, we could see our baby girl doing the "Gong Xi Gong Xi" sign at us. We look forward for her smooth birthing and now it's time to get her her names.

6th Gynae Checkup

Didn't bring along Shannen to the clinic this time cos the flu virus is too contagious. After settled Shannen at mum's place, took a cab to the clinic myself for the checkup. Dr. Adrian had confirmed that the baby is growing well @ 14.1cm now. As for the gender, he couldn't confirm anything as yet. Only mentioned that the baby is very girlish. So gonna wait till 16th of May for the detailed scan in TMC.

Father's Stall

This is our (me & Shannen) 1st visit to father's stall and we succeeded in giving him a surprise. Megan & Family, Sharlene, Robin & Yongliang were also there too. Father prepared lots of satay, BBQ fish & sotong and also chicken wings for us. Could tell that he was really happy to see us there.

When Shannen asked for sweet after she finished half bowl of fishball noodles, father quickly gave her a Mentos and not knowing that our little princess dun take "minty" sweet. Shannen spilt the sweet our almost immediately and shouted out that she doesn't like "yeye" who gave her the mint. Lolz...... Right away, father left the stall behind and came back after 10minutes with 3 cups of ice-cream with him. He gave Shannen the more expensive ones and left the other 2 for Yongliang & Chloe. Saw Yongliang trying to exchange the ice-cream with Shannen after she shouted "don't want" Hahahaha.....

Seafood Feast

This is my 3rd visit to this Malaysia Seafood Restaurant. Overall, the foods are nice and cheap. The full meals including drinks only cost us RM$290. Which is about S$130. This is so much cheaper than we bought crabs from Singapore restaurants which can cost us about S$200 for 4 crabs. We sure gonna go back there again.

Sambal Mussels (ok only, not spicy)

Homemade Tofu with Sea Cucumber (delicious)

5 Lime with Sour Plum drinks (very nice)
1 bottle of Beer (for my dad)
