Excellent Chinese Buffet

We had a very nice and cheap Chinese buffet at River City Restaurant @ Excelsior Hotel. Everyone enjoy it, even our little Shannen did. She was busying eating the prawn, yam, fish, tofu, scallops, etc...

Zoo Out 8

This was a short Zoo trip cos was raining heavily after a 20 mins walk, but some funny happened again.

Elson always have the habit of putting one leg in the car and the other outside the car. Worse is, he don't wear his slippers properly. This time, history repeated (it happened in Jurong Point's carpark the 1st time). When we reached Zoo, he(Elson) told me that he left the another slipper at our home carpark. Which means, he only had 1 slipper with him in the car. So I had to buy another pair of slipper for him from the Zoo. Wanted to get a Crocs for him, but since he told me to buy the cheapest on the shelf, I will grant his wish. I chose a light blue dolphins slipper for him. Lolz..... So bright and Shannen kept pointing at her daddy's slipper

Do you think Shannen is reading her books? No way manz... She was destorying them! All the "soft" pages are gone.......Not only that, she put the small pieces of papers in her mouth and chewing until she's happy then spilt out. OMG!

22 Months Milestones

Had realized that I didn't manage to give Shannen a good varieties of food. She has been getting porridge(same ingredients) for both meals on a daily basis. This is because I didn't have time to go to the market to get her other things. Had to depend on mummy to help me to get some meats and standard vegetables.

After consulting from some mummies, I had decided it's time to change her menu. She don't hate her porridge and milk feed anymore. I will try to get her involve whenever I am preparing the meals. At least, I get to eat some proper lunches too. Not only that, Shannen is also having 1 nap per day from 12pm to 3pm instead of the regular 2 naps for 2 hours(per session) per day. Can see the different behavior now. She is not that hyper when night falls at around 10pm.

Her fav. menus:-

1) Carrots, potatoes & tomatoes pureed with ABC pasta soup
2) Carrots, potatoes & corns pureed with ABC pasta soup
3) Udon with miso soup base with tofu, minced pork, prawns & Japanese seaweeds
4) Soup with vegetables, fish and rice
5) Bolognese twisted pasta with ham and minced pork
6) Alforedo twisted pasta with ham and minced pork
7) Pork ribs with tomato, carrot and potatoes soup base with Mee Sua & minced pork balls

The one she hated :-
1) Fried Bee Hoon with mushroom, prawns and pork.
Think it's too dry and too tough for her to swallow

She can also speak more and recognise more things now. This is why we have decided to send to her to a playgroup after she turns 2. Not only she is able to learn more but also get along with other kids better. Most importantly, we can't wait to see Shannen speak in proper sentences and have a good chat with us too. Lolz..

Badminton

After a long break...... Elson finally joined his sisters & brother in-laws for a good badminton game. Shannen had so much fun playing with the cousins.
